I'm Keith Barrett, an Evolutionary/Intuitive Astrologer.  I was initially trained in Hellenistic Astrology with Chris Brennan, dipped my toe into Vedic Astrology with Sam Geppi, took an intro course on Evolutionary Astrology with Steven Forrest, completed the School of Evolutionary Astrology with Jeffrey Wolf Green, and took the available courses offered by Tom Jacobs…an Evolutionary Astrologer and channel. I leverage these core teachings, intuitive abilities, psychological knowledge and life experience to help decode and understand the energetic map your soul is working through in this lifetime.

So, what the heck is Evolutionary Astrology?

Most Astrology is focused on character traits and tendencies.  Evolutionary Astrology looks at the map of the sky at the time you took your first breath from a soul perspective.  You may be in a body and experiencing things with your five senses, but you are much more than that!  Chances are, you've been on this planet many times and you have a plan for each lifetime in terms of what you want to experience.  It looks at the planets and symbols in your chart at a much deeper level which can help bring clarity to life events (past and future) and raise awareness in terms of why you may be struggling or having difficulty in certain areas.  It can also provide guidance on areas where you can focus your energy to become more aligned with your true essence.  As an example, let’s say you have the symbol of Mars in Capricorn in your natal chart.  It would be typical for this placement to carry interpretations like practical, diligent, dedicated, taking time to commit, and conventional. Well…from an Evolutionary Astrology perspective, you can add to those descriptive words that your soul has been exposed to heavy parental/religious/societal conditioning in past lives (and more than likely in this one), which your soul is intent on busting free from.  Becoming the master of your own life, acknowledging, and expressing the depth of your emotions, uncovering and releasing yourself from desires, opinions, and needs of others that are not in alignment with who you are.
