Pluto in your 1st house

Updated: Feb 2, 2022

*You can find out what house Pluto is in for you by visiting....free-horoscope.com

"Following your desires in order to experience and explore. Transforming and evolving your own self-expression, which in turn, facilities change to those you come in contact with."

Think of the 1st house as your innate soul projection to the world, experienced fully by those closest to you. It represents the Eastern horizon at the time of your birth. The sign on the cusp of this 1st house will show what 'character' you've chosen to play in this lifetime. With Pluto here, this is a brand-new evolutionary cycle. You may carry a feeling that you have a specific purpose to carry out, not just to experience life and move on. Think of having wrapped up a series of other lifetimes where what you set out to experience has been completed and the very first bricks of this new foundation have been set in place. This placement carries the energy of the 'Fool' card in the tarot. Your motto might read…."I need complete freedom to experience and explore everything I can get my hands on in order to learn all about this new character/cycle of experience". With Pluto here, it needs to be in-depth! No surface-level stuff will satisfy.

That said, the skills and experiences your soul has gathered from other lifetimes are still present. It is there for you to draw upon. You've more than likely experienced intense power dynamics with others. Think of subjugation or domination in its many different forms. You have brought forward a natural ability to "plumb to the depths". You can see through people and situations to their essence. This placement can display as a natural psychologist, guide, expert or visionary. The ability to "unlock" the unique expression of others.

For you, there is a default mode running in the background which is always scanning the environment to get a feel for what's taking place so that you can orient appropriately. Think of walking into a crowded room and being able to read energies and navigate to a place where you feel most safe and secure. Safety and security will at times be at odds with the impulse to continue learning about yourself through new experiences.

Your soul needs varied direct experiences and wants to understand the inner working of things. Whether that is yourself, other people, places, processes, or the universe. This placement is all about navigating through and understanding the experiences which come your way which help define the right boundaries for your own unique self-expression. Which naturally means to get there, those lines get stepped over every now and again ;). For example, think of accepting how others view you or accepting a 'role' they cast you in. Maybe doing the same to someone else. In this scenario, both souls have called in this experience in order to gain personal knowledge and make the right adjustments to bring inner alignment. ......."I've accepted someone else's view of who I am, and this experience has shown that I am energetically allowing others to "reach in" and define me. Now that I'm aware, I can dig deeper to understand why I'm giving away my power. Maybe you experienced an upbringing with dominating parents/guardians that didn't allow you to fully express yourself. The soul contract with your family to experience powerlessness and evolve towards full inner power.

For everyone (but especially for you) relationships of all kinds will play a major role. You will attract relationships and circumstances that promise to offer unique experiences, points of view, perspectives, and intensity. The sign on the cusp of the 7th, its ruler and the sign Venus is in will provide more clues as to the energies you're looking to attract.

Have you experienced someone who came into your world that "blow the doors off" the way you had constructed reality up to that point? Have you done that for someone else? Have you heard from people that you're intense? Have you had intense sexual experiences or have interests in things that are considered outside of mainstream thinking or convention in society? These wouldn't be uncommon for Pluto in the 1st house.

It's important to tap into your intuition and follow your own natural rhythmic flow in life and relationships. You may require (or seemingly be forced into) isolation, followed by times of exploration and back to isolation again. Ultimately, looking to be able to understand yourself fully, attracting people and situations that are collaborative and supportive. For you, being able to come into inner alignment and participate in sustained, meaningful relationships are a big part of your purpose.

The polarity energy to embrace here is Libra/7th house. Finding balance within yourself which will naturally attract balance in relationships. Listening, acknowledging, and accepting another's perspective. Equal energy exchanges and proper boundaries.

Refer to the article here on Pluto generational descriptions to find which you are a member of to learn what mode of operation you've chosen to place this Pluto intensity on. As always, there are many other factors that play into how this energy is experienced individually. If this resonates and would like to learn more (of course you do with Pluto here;), you can order a 'Soul Map' report here or schedule a session with me here.
