Pluto in your 3rd house

Updated: Feb 2, 2022

*You can find out what house Pluto is in for you by visiting....free-horoscope.com

"Being able to communicate impactfully. A guide or mentor. Ability to sift through information and different points of view in order to create a transformative concept, teaching, philosophy, or theory. Having a depth of knowledge in many different areas. The scientist!"

With the 2nd house Pluto soul, there was a need to stabilize and ground. Here, we are picking up the old backpack and exploring!

Let's say you wake up in the morning, grab your phone off the nightstand and start to have a look through emails, texts, social media, calendar…etc. An email catches your eye about a new physics class coming up. Something that you may have had a passing interest in before, but now you feel a desire to dive in. You remember a friend who took physics back in the day, so you send them a text, wanting to get their perspective on the experience.

You see the class is offered online or in-person in San Diego, CA. You live in Washington, D.C., and have never been to the West Coast so you think it may be cool to check it out. You send a few texts to friends that have lived or visited San Diego to ask some questions about their experience of the city. You are thinking.... what are some good hotels, places to eat, things to see, experiences…etc.? Maybe one of them would want to go with you? You then start researching the organization that is holding the class as well as reading the bio of the teacher. There are some books that the teacher has written so you look one of them up and briefly read the intro. Ok…it's time to get your ass out of bed and into the shower! Time to start your day ;)

As soon as your eyes opened, you were feeding your soul.

With this placement, think of a spiral pattern continually heading upwards with a pole in the center. The spiral is the many experiences and knowledge you are gathering throughout your life and the pole, your center. At different points in time, this spiral comes back around and meets the pole, allowing you to "touch base" with yourself so that have time to parse through all that has been gained, logically organize and detach from anything that you may have become too focused on or over-identified with. These periods where the "spiral meets the pole" can be times when the way you logically understood things to be up to that point may be upended due to new knowledge and experiences. Feelings of frustration, confusion, or restlessness can result due to the attachment to prior beliefs and the need to continually move and experience. It's important to understand this movement, change, and temporary pauses are a central part of your soul's journey in this lifetime and this reorganization and centering are a pivotal part of your experience.

As part of this journey, you may experience along the way taking in too much information, finding it difficult to access the information you feel you need (blocked by parents/caregivers/circumstance/society), those close to you who dominate conversations, feeling that you aren't safe or comfortable expressing your needs or non-transparency (yourself or others). All of these experiences navigate you towards finding your truth and authentic self-expression which will vibrate a frequency that will attract people and situations that are supportive.

With Pluto here, you already took in a lot of information from many different sources in other lifetimes. Needing to understand yourself and your immediate environment. Because your soul carries these experiences, it may be difficult to take in info that is presented to you in this life that you don't need. *This would also be the case with Mercury retrograde in a natal chart.

Think of a traditional school setting. Stuff being taught that your soul knows it doesn't need for this lifetime. On the surface, this may cause a lot of anxiety for yourself and cause friction with parents, caregivers, teachers, society…etc. Know that the info you need for this lifetime you will gather instinctively.

A highly charged nervous system in the hands is indicative here as well. The ability to pick up energetic cues from another's field through your hands. Being able to navigate to areas on another's body that may need healing. Think massage therapy or Reiki!

The polarity energy to embrace is Sagittarius/9th house. Developing your intuition, tapping into and being guided from bodily cues, connecting with your higher self and the supporting energies around you. Blending this with the experience of the 5 senses. Establishing or aligning with an existing philosophy that "feels" correct within your body, will quiet your mind and naturally develop the ability to consistently explain facts, understand yourself and the nature of existence. The Centaur of Sagittarius takes its bow and arrow, aims at the target, and strikes!

Refer to the article here on Pluto generational descriptions to find which you are a member of to learn what mode of operation you've chosen for this lifetime. As always, there are many other factors that play into how this energy is experienced individually. If this resonates and would like to learn more, you can order a 'Soul Map' report here or schedule a session with me here.
